Solstice Festival returns for its 4th annual celebration of music, art, technology and life! Come be a part of the Summer Solstice festivities as Austin joins in with hundreds of cities around the world to celebrate Fête de la Musique – aka World Music Day. This summer Solstice Festival will host concerts at multiple venues in and around the Red River Entertainment District, as well as 10hrs of nonstop music at the beautiful east side Pan Am Park. Featuring performances from nationally renowned artists, your favorite local bands, plus yoga workshops, an art village, and more - Solstice Festival is the soundtrack to your summer.

1. What is Solstice Festival?

Solstice Festival is a celebration of music and art taking place during World Music Day weekend and over the summer solstice-- June 15 - June 17.

Solstice Festival takes place at select in Austin’s Red River District and at Pan Am Park on Austin’s East side.

Thursday & Friday: Concerts at The Mohawk, Empire Garage & Control Room, The Sidewinder. Check the festival lineup for further info, including door & set times.

3. What are the types of tickets?

Sun People (Weekend General Admission) - $35.00
Enjoy GA access all three days of music with the Sun People Wristband. Provides admittance to concerts at Empire, The Mohawk, and The Sidewinder on Thursday and Friday, June 15-16 (capacity permitting – first come, first serve basis)

Sun People VIP (VIP Tickets) - $130.00
The Sun People VIP Wristband provides guaranteed admission into all of the clubs and the after party, access to the air-conditioned VIP lounge at Pan Am Park with complimentary drinks provided by Dos Equis, and private bathrooms. Treat yourself!

4. Should I receive an email with my order confirmation?

Yes. If you do not see your order confirmation in your inbox, make sure to check your junk/spam folder. If you have not received your confirmation or are having any other technical ticketing-related issues with your order, contact Eventbrite.

5. How do I collect my ticket?

  • Print off the ticket from the email you receive from Eventbrite or make it accessible on your mobile device via the Eventbrite app
  • Eventbrite tickets can be exchanged for festival wristbands at the following locations:

7. Can I leave the festival once I enter?

Yes, we allow re-entry w/ weekend wristbands.

8. First Aid / Medical?

We will have medical staff on site at Pan Am Park on Saturday 17th . Upon arrival, please take note of the location of our clearly-marked medical tent, should you need to stop by at any time throughout the day. If you need medical assistance, contact the nearest security official, staff member, volunteer, or medical staff; or go to one of the on-site medical tents.

9. Lost & Found?

Should you lose anything, each venue – Empire, The Mohawk, The Sidewinder – will have its own Lost & Found.

10. What happens if it rains?

Solstice Festival is rain or shine (although hopefully all shine). No refunds will be issued should inclement weather occur, but Solstice Festival will make every effort to relocate the shows, when possible. Texas weather can be unpredictable. Please keep an eye on the weather and pack accordingly. As always, be sure to listen to any updates from Solstice Festival staff regarding your safety.

11. Is Solstice family friendly?

Yes! Children 12 and under do not need a wristband and will receive free admission. Please be mindful of little ones' ears and always provide appropriate hearing protection. Minors under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

12. Will pets be allowed on the festival grounds?

We have a strict no-pet rule, with exceptions only for service animals as specified by federal and state law. All service animals must be registered at the entrance gates. Please note that comfort animals, emotional support animals, and therapy animals are not considered service animals and will not be allowed into the venue grounds.

This is a green event and we encourage everyone to ride their bike, walk, and use alternative modes of transportation.
